We want to go outside...

This was supposed to be painting practice TT_TT Then it turned into THIS.

I actually wrote a tiny story to this.... Meh, might as well post it.

Kane looked off into the distance wistfully. He felt unusually eager to leave the Build today. The weather was perfect and the air smelled of rain from the last thunderstorm. As he stood and paced, Jak sat next to him with an aura of impatience. His golden marker was draped delicately over his left wing.

"Jaaaakk..." Kane moaned for the thousandth time. "Let's go already".

Jak, in reply, stared at him with an irritated look. "Just wait another minute. You know were not suppose to leave the Build without our proper marking".

"I told you not to take that thing off", said Kane, angrily. "Now we'll have to wait for Master to tie strings back together".

"Shut up", huffed Jak. He laid his head down, trying to relax until Master returned from her early inspection. The sun leaked through the great entrance, casting a golden sheen over his perfect white and brown coat. The gentle wind and scent of rain was almost too beckoning. Jak was surprised that his restless brother had managed not to spring outside immediately as the gates were opened.

Sensing that complaining wouldn't help things, Kane copied his brother, slumping himself down on the warm, limestone floor. He force himself to shut his eyes as he thought about challenging his brother to another hunting contest once they escaped this prison. Perhaps the victor could gain the privilege of sending Master to the academy once it came back in session. He was still wondering this when he heard the clanging of the main entrance.

This was sorta a world-building thing. If you haven't guessed yet, Master is suppose to be me. If only...
